Sefton’s leading care provider, New Directions, is now recruiting for an experience Care Worker in North Hub, Southport. We currently employ around 450 staff across the business who pride themselves on delivering high quality social care and support to vulnerable groups within the Sefton area.
An exciting opportunity has arisen to become a part of our dedicated team of Care Workers at our North Hub which is a day activity hub for adults who have additional support needs due to learning and/or physical disabilities, autistic spectrum disorder and people who require age related support.
We are seeking compassionate and skilled individual to join our integrated team, providing exceptional care and housing-related support.
As a Care Worker at New Directions, you will:
- Deliver Comprehensive Care: Work collaboratively to meet the assessed care needs of our service users, ensuring your approach respects their dignity and promotes their independence.
- Provide Personalized Support: Develop and implement personalized Care Plans for each service user, addressing their unique needs and preferences.
- Perform Essential Care Duties: Assist with personal care, dietary needs, and a variety of community-based daily living tasks and therapeutic activities.
- Achieve Care Outcomes: Collaborate with service users to carry out all aspects of their Care Plans, aiming to achieve the best possible outcomes.

What we need from you:
- A caring nature and strong values of compassion and inclusion.
- Experience of working with vulnerable people within a care environment is advantageous, but not essential.
- Diploma in Health & Social Care Level 2 or equivalent is desirable.
- Ability to pass the screening process for Enhanced DBS check.
- Valid Right to Work in the UK without any limitations or restrictions.
- You must be over 18 years old.
- Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
