The Kings Head is a welcoming countryside gastro pub where great food, quality drinks and friendly service come together. Set in the heart of Napton on the Hill, we pride ourselves on serving seasonal British food, local produce and a great selection of drinks, including beers from Hook Norton Brewery.
We are now looking for experienced, friendly and professional Front of House team members to join us.
The role
As part of our Front of House team, you will help create a warm and memorable experience for every guest, whether they are joining us for a relaxed drink, Sunday lunch, dinner with friends or a special occasion.
Key responsibilities
- Welcoming guests and delivering excellent customer service
- Taking food and drink orders accurately
- Serving food and drinks to a high standard
- Working confidently behind the bar
- Using the till and POS system to process payments
- Keeping the bar, restaurant and service areas clean, organised and well stocked
- Supporting the kitchen and management team during busy service
- Handling guest queries professionally and politely
- Helping maintain the high standards expected at The Kings Head
What we’re looking for
- Previous front of house, bar, pub or restaurant experience is required
- Must be 18 or over
- A friendly, confident and professional attitude
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work well under pressure in a busy hospitality environment
- A genuine passion for great food, drinks and customer service
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and bank holidays
- A reliable team player with a positive attitude
