Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Printer to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating printing equipment, ensuring high-quality output, and maintaining smooth production processes. Duties
- Operate and monitor various printing machines, ensuring precise calibration and functioning.
- Set up printing equipment according to specifications, including adjusting settings and loading materials.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on printers to minimise downtime.
- Assist with fabricating and assembling components related to printing projects using hand tools and power tools.
- Conduct quality checks on printed materials, ensuring colour accuracy and clarity.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and optimise workflow.
- Assist with warehouse duties such as heavy lifting of materials and supplies as required.
Experience
- Previous printing experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment is essential. Only applicants with this experience will be considered.
- Mechanical knowledge is advantageous for troubleshooting and maintaining printing equipment.
- Experience with heavy lifting and handling large or bulky items safely is preferred.
- Candidates with warehouse experience or background in production will find this role well-suited to their skills.
- A proactive attitude towards learning new techniques and adhering to safety protocols is essential for success in this position.
- Experience of working under pressure to meet deadlines.
Pay: £681.35-£841.72 per week
