Chartered Accountant
Location: Chester, Cheshire
Position: Full-Time
Salary: £45,000-£55,000 plus bonus
Hunter Accountants is seeking a qualified Chartered Accountant to manage a select portfolio of high-value clients working closely with a team of qualified solicitors.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a comprehensive range of accountancy services whilst building strong and lasting client relationships.
Responsibilities
- Preparation of statutory accounts
- Preparation and submission of VAT returns
- Bookkeeping and management accounts
- Payroll administration
- Self-assessment tax returns
- Corporation tax compliance
- Liaising directly with clients and HMRC
- Providing proactive advice and support to clients
- Managing deadlines and ensuring compliance requirements are met
- Maintaining accurate client records and working papers
Requirements
- ACA or ACCA qualified
- Experience within a UK accountancy practice
- Strong knowledge of accounts preparation, VAT, payroll and self-assessment
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to manage a portfolio of clients independently
- Professional and client-focused approach
