About My Little Boardroom
My Little Boardroom is a unique childcare and coworking environment designed to support both children and their parents. We provide high-quality, nurturing early years education in a warm, welcoming and stimulating environment.
We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join our growing team.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who genuinely enjoys working with young children and wants to make a positive difference to their early development. You will play an important role in providing outstanding care, supporting children's learning and development, and creating an environment where every child feels safe, valued and encouraged to thrive.
The Role
As a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner, you will work as part of our early years team to provide high-quality care and education in line with the EYFS framework, our policies and procedures, and the values of My Little Boardroom.
You will be responsible for:
- Planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate activities that support children's individual interests, development and learning.
- Supporting children's development across the seven areas of learning within the EYFS.
- Creating a warm, nurturing and stimulating environment where children feel safe, secure and confident.
- Supporting children's daily routines, including meals, rest, personal care, hygiene and toileting.
- Observing children's development and contributing to accurate records, assessments and learning documentation.
- Building positive and professional relationships with children, parents, carers and colleagues.
- Supporting children's emotional wellbeing and encouraging positive behaviour, independence and confidence.
- Following safeguarding, health and safety, confidentiality and infection-control procedures at all times.
- Maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure consistent, high-quality care.
- Supporting and mentoring apprentices, trainees and less experienced members of the team where appropriate.
- Taking responsibility for your own professional development and contributing positively to the wider My Little Boardroom team.
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- Level 3 qualified in Early Years / Childcare or holds an equivalent recognised qualification.
- Passionate about providing high-quality care and education for young children.
- Warm, friendly, patient and nurturing in your approach.
- Confident in supporting children's learning and development through play and meaningful experiences.
- Knowledgeable about the EYFS and current early years best practice.
- Able to communicate confidently and professionally with children, parents, carers and colleagues.
- Reliable, organised and able to work effectively as part of a team.
- Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- Flexible and willing to contribute to the day-to-day running of a busy early years setting.
- Able to demonstrate a professional attitude and a genuine commitment to continuous improvement.
Previous experience working within a nursery, preschool or other early years setting is essential.
