About the Programme
Our Graduate Financial Planning Programme provides the perfect balance between professional study and practical experience.
Throughout the programme you'll:
- Work towards Chartered Financial Planner status.
- Learn directly from experienced Chartered Financial Planners.
- Observe client meetings.
- Build technical knowledge across pensions, investments, tax, trusts and estate planning.
- Learn how professional financial planning recommendations are developed.
- Support Financial Planners in delivering an exceptional client experience.
- Develop confidence through structured learning, coaching and mentoring.
Every stage of your development is supported through regular reviews, technical coaching and dedicated mentoring.
What You'll Be Doing
No two days are ever the same. During the programme you'll gain experience across every aspect of financial planning, including:
- Supporting client meetings.
- Preparing meeting documentation.
- Pension and investment research.
- Cashflow modelling.
- Estate and trust planning.
- Tax planning.
- Financial planning software.
- Client relationship management.
- Regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Supporting the delivery of outstanding client service.

You'll join Oakmere Wealth as an Adviser Assistant, working alongside our experienced Financial Planners.
As your knowledge, experience and confidence develop, you'll have the opportunity to progress into a Financial Planner role, with further opportunities to develop into senior financial planning and leadership positions as Oakmere Wealth continues to grow.

Previous financial services experience isn't required. What matters most is your attitude, willingness to learn and commitment to developing a professional career.
