General Labourer – Monument Property Maintenance

Monument Property Maintenance delivers reactive and planned works across residential properties, working closely with managing agents, landlords, and property managers. Due to continued growth, we are looking for a reliable and hard-working General Labourer to join our team.
Role Overview
You will support our engineers and tradespeople across a wide range of construction and maintenance tasks. This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone who is physically fit, punctual, and takes pride in delivering tidy, safe work on-site.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting trades with day-to-day tasks (carpentry, plastering prep, plumbing support, general repairs)
- Site preparation, clearing, waste removal and maintaining a tidy work environment
- Carrying materials, loading/unloading vans and equipment
- Basic demolition work and strip-outs when required
- Protecting client properties with floor coverings and dust sheets
- Following health & safety rules and reporting any issues
- Supporting engineers on reactive callouts and scheduled works
Requirements
- Previous general labouring or construction experience preferred but not essential
- Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently
- Good communication and a positive, proactive attitude
- Must be reliable with good timekeeping
- Full UK driving licence preferred
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying conditions
What We Offer
- £110 to £120 per day
- Regular hours: Monday to Friday, 8am – 5pm
