We are looking for a warm, proactive, and highly organised Front of House team member to help create an exceptional member experience within our small group personal training facility.
This role is much more than reception. You’ll be the first point of contact for members, helping shape the energy, atmosphere, and sense of community within the space. You’ll support day-to-day gym operations, member engagement, facility standards, and the smooth running of our contrast therapy recovery area.
The ideal candidate is people-focused, service-driven, calm under pressure, and genuinely passionate about creating a welcoming environment where members feel known, supported, and valued.

Roles & Responsibilities
Member Experience & Community
- Deliver a high-level member experience from arrival to departure
- Welcome all members and guests with energy, professionalism, and warmth
- Learn member names and build genuine relationships within the community
- Help foster a positive, inclusive, and motivating training environment
- Support community events, member engagement initiatives, and retention activities
- Handle member questions, concerns, and feedback professionally and efficiently
- Assist with new member onboarding and introductions to the facility
Front of House Operations
- Manage daily front desk operations and ensure the facility runs smoothly
- Maintain cleanliness, presentation, and organisation across all communal areas
- Support class check-ins, scheduling, and booking systems
- Assist with membership administration and general enquiries
- Respond to emails, phone calls, and messages in a timely and professional manner
- Monitor stock levels for retail, towels, refreshments, and operational supplies
- Open and close the facility when required
Contrast Therapy Operations Support
- Oversee the smooth day-to-day operation of the contrast therapy space
- Ensure sauna, cold plunge, and recovery areas are clean, safe, organised, and fully prepared for member use
- Monitor hygiene, towel management, replenishment, and presentation standards
- Support member flow and session scheduling within the recovery area
- Communicate operational or maintenance issues promptly to management
- Help create a calm, premium, recovery-focused environment for all users
Facility Standards
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and hospitality throughout the facility
- Take pride in the member experience and overall environment
- Ensure health & safety procedures are followed at all times
- Support coaches and the wider team with operational needs throughout the day

Pay: £28,860.00 per year
