We are looking to recruit a hardworking and enthusiastic team member who wants to join our fast paced and friendly working environment. This is a full-time permanent, role based at our Carlisle branch:
INTERNAL STEEL SALES ADVISOR – CARLISLE
Key Areas of the Role:
At TG our Sales Advisors play an integral part in our success. Reporting to the Steel Sales Division Manager, for this internal, office-based role, you will work in a friendly environment where customer service and relationship building are key.
Pro activity is important to build and maintain positive working relationships with new and existing customers whilst working well within our team. You will be responsible for helping to grow the business by liaising with account holders, looking for new opportunities, analysing data to actively develop customer accounts, providing and following up on quotations. Your duties will also include after-sales, admin, negotiating prices, placing direct orders, organising deliveries, and keeping customers informed about their order progress.
Skills & Experience:
- A genuine enthusiasm for dealing with customers, and a ‘customer 1st’ attitude.
- Confident communication skills and telephone manner
- The ability to organise and manage workload to meet deadlines.
- Strong work ethic.
- Computer literate.
- Previous experience in a similar role would be an advantage but is not essential.
Hours of work: 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday (1pm early finish Friday – alternate weeks)
