We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Sprinkler Fitter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing sprinkler systems in a variety of commercial and industrial settings. This role requires a strong understanding of plumbing, construction, and welding techniques, along with mechanical knowledge to ensure systems are installed efficiently and safely. Duties
- Read and interpret schematics, technical drawings, and blueprints to ensure accurate installation of sprinkler systems.
- Install sprinkler piping using MIG, TIG, and other welding techniques suitable for <LOCATION> welding standards.
- Assemble components and fixtures using hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment.
- Perform soldering and plumbing tasks to connect sprinkler systems securely and efficiently.
- Conduct maintenance, inspections, and repairs on existing sprinkler installations to ensure optimal operation.
- Collaborate with team members during construction projects, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and project specifications.
- Utilise basic maths skills for measurements, calculations, and adjustments during installation processes.
- Troubleshoot system issues using mechanical knowledge and diagnostic skills to minimise downtime.
- Ensure work areas are kept clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience in sprinkler fitting or related construction roles involving plumbing, welding (MIG, TIG), or assembly work.
- Strong knowledge of schematics, technical drawings, and blueprints relevant to sprinkler systems.
- Proficiency in welding techniques including MIG, TIG, and <LOCATION> welding standards.
- Mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, soldering equipment, and maintenance tools.
- Good understanding of plumbing principles and construction practices related to sprinkler systems installation.
- Basic mathematical skills for measurements and calculations necessary during installation tasks.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high safety standards.

Pay: £48,000.00-£60,000.00 per year
