We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Porter to join our dynamic team at Prestwick club. As a Kitchen Porter, you will play a crucial role in supporting our culinary staff by ensuring the kitchen porter operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, pots, and pans.
- Ensure that all kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored properly after use.
- Help with the delivery and storage of food supplies and ingredients.
- Support chefs during busy service periods by providing additional assistance as required.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
- Assist with waste management and recycling efforts within the kitchen.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a hospitality
- A strong willingness to learn and develop skills within the kitchen setting.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate well with colleagues.
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends if required.
