Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Breakfast Server to join our team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service in a welcoming environment, ensuring guests enjoy a memorable breakfast experience. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety. Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is preferred, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are equally valued. The Breakfast Server will play a key role in creating a warm atmosphere for our guests while supporting the smooth operation of the dining area.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive service throughout their breakfast experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special dietary requirements are accommodated
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and maximise sales opportunities
- Ensure all food safety and hygiene standards are adhered to at all times
- Assist with food preparation as needed, including setting up buffet stations or assisting kitchen staff
- Clear tables efficiently and maintain cleanliness in the dining area during service
- Handle guest enquiries courteously, providing information about menu options and specials
- Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth service flow
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant service, or related roles is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation techniques is advantageous
- Familiarity with serving procedures and guest service best practices is preferred
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during busy service periods
- Good communication skills and a friendly demeanour to create a welcoming environment for guests
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting
Pay: From £12.71 per hour
