Are you passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences and leading a motivated housekeeping team? We are looking for a dedicated and hands-on Head of Housekeeping to join the team at Rwst Holiday Lodges.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong leadership skills, excellent attention to detail, and a passion for maintaining the highest standards across our luxury holiday accommodation.
Role Overview
The successful candidate will oversee the day-to-day housekeeping operation across the site while also actively carrying out housekeeping duties alongside the team to ensure all lodges and communal areas are presented to the highest standard for our guests.
Contract & Working Hours
- 30 hours per week contract
- Opportunity for additional overtime during busy periods
- Monday to Sunday availability required
- Weekends worked on a rota basis
- Core working hours: 9:00am – 3:00pm
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, supervise, and motivate the housekeeping team
- Assist with rota planning and day-to-day team coordination
- Carry out housekeeping duties including lodge changeovers and deep cleans
- Maintain exceptional cleanliness and presentation standards across all accommodation and communal areas
- Ensure guest experience remains at the heart of all housekeeping operations
- Communicate effectively with the office team regarding arrivals, departures, and changeovers
- Conduct quality checks to ensure standards are consistently achieved
- Support with training and development of housekeeping staff
- Report maintenance or operational issues promptly
