This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced Emergency Nurse to lead operational activity on shift, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, drive patient flow, and ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality, patient-centred care. You will act as a clinical role model, support the achievement of the 4-hour operational standard, and contribute to service improvement, education, workforce development and governance.
The successful candidate will be a Registered Adult Nurse with significant Emergency Department experience at Band 6 level or above, strong clinical decision-making skills, and a passion for developing others. You will have experience managing teams, supporting quality and safety initiatives, handling operational pressures, and delivering excellent patient outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

Assess, plan, implement and evaluate programmes of care, providing specialist advice and actively seeking evidence based practice which will improve the quality of care and meet the needs of a group of patients.

Provide a positive learning environment and role model for students, staff and patients.
Organise your teams to ensure all staff attend mandatory training and maintain appropriate records.
