Ground Theoretical Knowledge Instructor Vacancy
Due to increasing demand Bristol Groundschool are currently recruiting experienced Full-time Theoretical Knowledge Ground Instructors to join our highly professional team to teach ATPL Theoretical Knowledge subjects.
Applicants must have considerable teaching experience; previous experience in commercial or military aviation and knowledge of the EASA ATPL syllabus would be an advantage. This is an opportunity for experienced former air crew or ground crew to deliver multimedia based instruction to student pilots undertaking their ATPL study by distance learning with a 1-week revision course at the end of each module.
Ideally, successful applicants should have experience in the planning and delivery of theoretical knowledge instruction to students who have little or no knowledge of the aviation industry. However, training may be given to the right applicant who demonstrates flexibility, motivation, and a keen willingness to learn new skills.
Instructors will also support teaching duties by drafting and updating written course materials, so relevant experience would be a significant advantage.
Candidates must be team players with a positive, ‘can do’ attitude, and must have a proven track record of showing professionalism in their approach to delivering high-quality training.
You must be eligible to work in the UK. You need to live close enough to the office to be able to attend when required to be in the office.
Based in our premises in Clevedon near Bristol. There is some flexibility in non-teaching weeks to complete 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home.
Salary will be discussed at interview as it will be based on level of experience.Starting salary is £45,000 however as you prove teaching skills in knowledge areas this will increase in increments up to £59,500. Experienced TKI's will progress quickly.
