We're seeking an ambitious and people-focused Registered Home Manager to lead our well-established 64-bed residential and dementia care home in Bishops Cleeve, Cheltenham. About the Role
As Registered Home Manager, you'll have overall responsibility for the operational and clinical performance of the home.
You will:
- Lead, inspire, and develop a dedicated care team
- Ensure exceptional standards of resident care and wellbeing
- Drive compliance and maintain regulatory excellence
- Build strong relationships with residents, families, healthcare professionals, and local stakeholders
- Manage budgets and resources effectively
- Support occupancy growth and enhance the home's reputation within the local community
- Create a positive, engaging culture where colleagues can flourish
About You
We're looking for a confident and experienced leader who combines commercial awareness with a genuine passion for delivering outstanding care.
You'll ideally have:
- Previous experience as a Registered Home Manager within elderly care
- Strong knowledge of dementia care and best practice
- Excellent understanding of CQC regulations and compliance requirements
- Experience leading successful inspections and quality improvement initiatives
- Proven ability to recruit, develop, and retain high-performing teams
- Strong financial and operational management skills
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
- A passion for creating positive outcomes for residents and colleagues alike
