We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Part-Time evening cleaner to join our team. The hours being 6pm - 8.30 pm Monday to Friday. This role is vital in maintaining a hygienic and inviting space for children, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services and take pride in delivering high standards of cleanliness.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of nursery rooms, play areas, restrooms, kitchens, and common spaces to ensure a sanitary environment
- Use appropriate cleaning products and equipment safely and effectively
- Maintain cleanliness of floors, surfaces, windows, and fixtures regularly throughout the day
- Dispose of waste responsibly and ensure recycling procedures are followed
- Follow health and safety guidelines consistently to prevent hazards or contamination
- Restock cleaning supplies and toiletries as needed to ensure availability for staff and children
- Report any maintenance issues or safety concerns promptly to management
Experience
- Prior experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques specific to childcare or educational settings is advantageous
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to hygiene standards
- Reliable, punctual, and able to adhere to scheduled shifts
- Full DBS will be required
