Warehouse Operative
Flex-It is a family run business established in 1994 supplying flexible conduit and accessories to the electrical and wholesale market. We are looking to recruit a new warehouse operative to join our team.
Your main “day to day” tasks will include:
- Picking and packing orders.
- Checking in goods.
- Measuring, cutting and coiling flexible conduit.
- Assembling parts.
- Use of computer and booking in software.
You will be required to use some machinery such as an industrial bandsaw, heat sealer, strapping machine and heat tunnel of which training will be given. Other equipment used often includes knives, tape guns, computers and printers.
We are looking for a friendly and honest person who works well in a team, can use their initiative and is consistent in a high standard of work. You won’t be asked to do anything without being shown the proper procedure and will be surrounded by people who are happy to help at any time.
Attributes:
- Must be a people person
- Computer literate
- Good at solving problems/prioritising workload.
- Flexible in additional duties and have a can do attitude.
- Better suited to a younger person due to the current working environment, but all applications considered.
Working Hours:
Monday-Thursday: 08:30 - 17:00
Friday: 08:30 - 16:00
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £11.00-£13.00 per hour
