Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Domestic Cleaner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across various residential and commercial properties. Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces
- Ensure all rooms are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation
- Use appropriate cleaning products and equipment safely and efficiently
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation of cleaning routines
- Handle specialised cleaning tasks such as carpet or upholstery cleaning when required
- Assist with organising and tidying spaces to meet client expectations
- Occasionally prepare light refreshments or assist with basic cooking tasks as part of hospitality services (nice-to-have skill)
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client needs professionally and courteously
Qualifications
- Previous janitorial or commercial cleaning experience is preferred, including hotel or hospitality sectors
- Experience in domestic or residential cleaning is advantageous
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, tools, and safety procedures
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanour
- Ability to work independently and efficiently within deadlines
- Nice-to-have skills include cooking, customer service experience, or additional hospitality qualifications
