The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering a comprehensive, efficient, and effective reception and administrative service, helping to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the Practice.
Main Responsibilities
- Receive, assist, and direct patients to the appropriate service or healthcare professional in a courteous, efficient, and professional manner.
- Provide high-quality reception and administrative support in line with established Practice policies, procedures, and processes.
- Respond to telephone, face-to-face, and electronic enquiries promptly and effectively.
- Book, amend, and manage patient appointments and home visit requests.
- Contact patients on behalf of the clinical team to provide information and support.
- Assist patients in accessing Practice services and signpost them to appropriate services within the wider community.
- Provide general administrative assistance to the wider Practice team.
- Maintain a professional, welcoming, and positive image of the Practice at all times.

You will be a compassionate, friendly, and professional individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will enjoy working in a busy environment and be able to engage confidently with patients, colleagues, and a range of healthcare professionals.
