Overview
We are seeking an Assembley and Packing Operative to join our production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that products are packed efficiently, accurately, and in accordance with food safety standards. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work within a dynamic environment focused on quality and safety. Prior experience in food production or mechanical knowledge is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided. All roles are paid positions, including internships.
Responsibilities
- Packing machinery and equipment safely and efficiently
- Ensure products are packed according to specified standards and quality requirements
- Maintain accurate records of production quantities and packing details
- Conduct routine checks on machinery to identify any mechanical issues or malfunctions
- Assist with the organisation of packing materials and ensure stock levels are maintained
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the packing area in compliance with health and safety regulations
- Perform basic mathematical calculations for weighing, counting, and verifying product quantities
Qualifications
- Mechanical knowledge or experience with machinery is a plus
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Manual Dexterity and physically Fit
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work shifts as required, including early mornings or late evenings if necessary

Pay: £12.21-£14.00 per hour
