We are currently seeking a reliable and professional Healthcare Delivery Driver to join our team based at Norwich Community Hospital. This is a rewarding opportunity to play a key role in supporting healthcare services and making a real difference to patients and the wider community.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Completing 25-35 deliveries and collections per day (mail, mattresses, PPE)
- Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks
- Loading and unloading goods safely and efficiently
- Planning and following efficient delivery routes
- Using handheld technology to manage and complete deliveries
- Ensuring all paperwork and delivery records are accurate
- Providing excellent customer service, including deliveries to vulnerable individuals
- Maintaining vehicle cleanliness and reporting faults or maintenance needs
What We’re Looking For
- Previous multi-drop delivery experience (essential)
- Full UK driving licence (maximum 6 penalty points for minor offences)
- Good knowledge of Norfolk’s road network (preferred)
- A calm, polite, and flexible approach with customers
- Strong attention to detail and sense of responsibility
- Willingness to undergo a DBS (Disclosure & Barring Service) check
