We are looking for a “Production Operative” for our site in Ashford as part of a permanent contract.
Main missions:
Reporting to the Production Manager you will carry out the following duties:
- Build electronic assemblies following work instructions/drawings
- Use hand tools and equipment with care and attention
- Keep work bench area clean and tidy
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times
- Involvement with various production tasks as required
Profile / skills required:
- Basic soldering skills
- Ability to work on their own as well as part of a team
- Basic knowledge of hand tools (Electric screw drivers, cutters, strippers etc…)
- Ability to follow instructions both verbal and written
- Good dexterity and attention to detail
- Ability to record completed tasks in relevant books
- An interest in technical assemblies would be advantageous
- Good housekeeping
- Good time keeping
Working time:
37,5h/week – Mon – Thur – 08:00 – 16:30, Fri – 08:00 – 14:00
Salary : 24 840£/ Year
22 days of paid holiday per year (working days) + Bank holidays
Position to be filled as soon as possible
Pay: Up to £24,840.00 per year
