AZG Logistics Ltd is a growing transport and logistics company providing nationwide haulage services for Amazon as well as container haulage across the UK. Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit experienced and reliable HGV Class 1 (C+E) Tramping Drivers to join our team.
This is a full-time tramping role, so applicants must be willing to stay away from home during the working week. We are looking for professional drivers who are committed to safety, reliability, and delivering excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete scheduled deliveries and collections throughout the UK.
- Transport Amazon freight and container loads safely and efficiently.
- Carry out daily vehicle safety checks and report any defects.
- Ensure all loads are secured and transported in accordance with company and legal requirements.
- Comply with Drivers' Hours Regulations, Working Time Directive, and all road transport legislation.
- Complete delivery documentation and electronic PODs accurately.
- Maintain regular communication with the transport office.
- Represent AZG Logistics Ltd professionally at all customer and delivery locations.
Requirements:
- Valid UK HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence.
- Valid Driver CPC qualification.
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
- Previous Class 1 driving experience is preferred.
- Experience with Amazon Relay and/or container haulage is an advantage but not essential.
- Good understanding of UK road transport regulations.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Willing to tramp away from home during the working week.
Pay: £200.00-£210.00 per day
