At The Orchards our priority is the people we support and making a difference to them.
The Orchards is an Extra Care facility, delivering person centred care to those who require it within their own homes in the scheme.
Extra Care Housing offers individuals the opportunity to live independently in their own self-contained apartment while having access to care and support whenever it is needed. It combines the privacy and freedom of having your own home with the reassurance of on-site care staff, 24 hours a day.
Our Extra Care Team provides personalised support tailored to each person's needs, including assistance with personal care, medication, meals, mobility, and daily living activities. We also promote wellbeing, independence, and social inclusion, helping people maintain control over their lives while remaining in a safe and supportive environment.

We will give you all the training and support you need. You will be supported by us to make a difference by not only providing personal care to the people we support but supporting them to take part in a wide range of activities, promoting independence along the way. The duties are varied, and no two days will be the same. Our residents are individuals, and they all deserve to be treated as such.
