Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Qualified Nursery Room Leader to join our vibrant early childhood education team. Responsibilities
- Lead and manage daily nursery operations, ensuring high standards of care and education are maintained at all times
- Supervise and support nursery staff, providing guidance, mentorship, and professional development opportunities
- Plan and implement engaging activities that promote children's cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and childcare regulations to create a secure environment for children and staff
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to share progress updates and address any concerns or questions
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress, attendance, and developmental milestones
- Foster a positive team atmosphere that encourages collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement
Experience
- Proven management experience within a childcare or nursery setting
- Extensive experience working directly with children in early childhood education or childcare roles
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team effectively
- Strong communication skills in English to interact confidently with children, parents, and colleagues
- Knowledge of childcare regulations, health & safety standards, and best practices in early childhood development
- Valid driving license preferred for transporting children or attending off-site activities
- Relevant qualifications in early childhood education or childcare (e.g., Level 3 Childcare Qualification) are essential
