SENIOR CHEF – PUB, RESTAURANT & EVENTS

We’re looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and reliable Senior Chef to join our kitchen team at our busy family pub and restaurant.
We are a lively venue serving quality pub food and restaurant dishes, alongside a growing wedding and events business. This is an exciting opportunity for a chef who enjoys variety, takes pride in their food and is ready to play an important role in a busy kitchen.
The Role
As Senior Chef, you will work closely with kitchen team to ensure the smooth running of the kitchen and consistently high standards of food.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and cooking high-quality dishes to a consistent standard
- Taking responsibility for the kitchen iand day to day running of the kitchen
- Helping with menu development and specials
- Preparing and delivering food for weddings, private functions and events
- Maintaining excellent food hygiene, cleanliness and health & safety standards
- Supporting and mentoring junior members of the kitchen team
- Managing busy services calmly and efficiently
- Helping with stock control, ordering and minimising food waste
- Ensuring portion control and presentation standards are maintained
