An Exciting opportunity has arisen to join an expanding company within the Kitchen, Bedroom and Bathroom Furniture (KBB) Sector based in Hixon (Staffordshire). We have a opportunity available to work in our Paint Department within a great existing team.
Experience is preferred but not essential as full training will be provided for the role.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect painted door surfaces for nibs, dust inclusions, runs, and other surface defects following the paint application process
- Use appropriate denibbing tools and abrasive materials (e.g. denibbing blocks, fine-grade sandpaper, sanding pads) to carefully remove imperfections
- Ensure all denibbed surfaces are smooth and prepared to the required finish standard
- Work closely with the paint shop team to flag recurring defects and contribute to quality improvement
- Maintain a clean and organised workstation in line with housekeeping standards
- Adhere to all Health & Safety procedures, including correct use of PPE (dust masks, gloves, eye protection)
- Complete production records and quality checklists accurately
- Report any damage, equipment faults, or quality concerns to the supervisor promptly

The Hours will be 8am - 4:30pm (Mon - Fri)
