Location: Harbottle, Morpeth, Northumberland
Pay Rate: £13.04 p/h
Hours: 40 Hours p/w
Job Type: Permanent / On-site
About the Role

We're looking for a reliable and caring Domestic Cleaner to join our team and help maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment for our residents.
Your work will play an important part in supporting residents' comfort, dignity and wellbeing.
Your Key Duties
You will be responsible for:

Cleaning bedrooms, communal areas, furniture, fittings, windows, carpets and equipment

Cleaning bathrooms and sanitary equipment to a high standard

Following infection-control procedures and maintaining excellent hygiene standards

Handling waste and ensuring it is disposed of correctly

Following safe working procedures and reporting faulty equipment or hazards
-
Using cleaning materials and equipment safely and economically
-
Keeping wastage to a minimum

Supporting risk assessments and following agreed control measures

Following Health & Safety and COSHH requirements
-
Keeping cleaning materials correctly stored and used safely
-
Reading relevant communications and following instructions

Maintaining strict confidentiality regarding residents, colleagues and company information

Attending relevant staff meetings, resident meetings and training
-
Reporting concerns or unusual situations to management promptly
-
Supporting the wider team and carrying out other reasonable duties when required
