Breakfast Chef
A well-established hotel is seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Breakfast Chef to join its professional kitchen team. This is an excellent opportunity for a chef who enjoys working in a quality hospitality environment and takes pride in delivering exceptional food and service.
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving breakfast to the highest standards, ensuring guests receive a consistently excellent dining experience each morning. Working closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chef, you will play a key role in maintaining food quality, kitchen organisation, and operational efficiency.
As Breakfast Chef, you will:
- Prepare and serve breakfast dishes to a consistently high standard.
- Ensure all food is prepared, presented, and served in accordance with hotel standards.
- Assist with the preparation of staff meals.
- Support the Head Chef and Sous Chef in the efficient running of the kitchen.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, food hygiene, and kitchen organisation.
- Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering and stock rotation.
- Minimise waste and contribute to effective kitchen cost control.
- Comply with all HACCP, food safety, and health & safety regulations.
- Assist with training and supporting junior kitchen staff where required.
- Carry out any other reasonable kitchen duties as requested by senior management.
The ideal candidate
You will have:
- Previous experience as a Breakfast Chef, Chef de Partie or in a similar kitchen role.
- A genuine passion for food and hospitality.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- A positive, friendly, and professional attitude.
- A good level of spoken English.
- A strong understanding of food hygiene and HACCP standards.
