Accounts Senior
In this role, you'll manage a portfolio of accountancy practice clients, preparing and reviewing accounts and tax work while becoming a key point of contact for your clients.

We're working with a well-established and growing accountancy practice that's looking for an Accounts Senior / Senior Accountant to join its team.
This is a great next step for someone who wants more ownership of their clients, the opportunity to support junior staff and a genuine pathway to progress further.
The Role
You'll work closely with managers and partners, with responsibilities including:
- Preparing and reviewing year-end statutory accounts under FRS 102, FRS 102 1A and FRS 105
- Preparing corporation tax returns
- Producing management accounts and VAT returns
- Managing your own portfolio and client deadlines
- Dealing directly with clients and answering accounting and tax queries
- Reviewing work completed by junior and semi senior accountants
- Supporting and mentoring less experienced team members
- Getting involved in more technical and advisory work as you develop
About You
You'll ideally have solid accounts experience within a UK accountancy practice. ACA/ACCA qualification would be beneficial, although experienced part-qualified or QBE candidates may also be considered.
