About the Role:
Globe Roofing Ltd is looking for an experienced and motivated Contracts Manager to join our growing team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day running and operations of multiple roofing sites, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on time, and to the high standards expected by both our clients and Globe Roofing Ltd.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the daily running and operations of multiple roofing projects.
- Ensure all roofing works are completed in line with client programmes and agreed completion dates.
- Coordinate with our Operations Manager, who will organise and procure materials required for each project.
- Manage site teams to ensure quality workmanship, productivity and health & safety compliance.
- Liaise professionally with clients, site managers, developers and other stakeholders throughout each project.
- Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with NHBC standards and Globe Roofing Ltd's own quality standards.
- Attend and contribute to weekly management meetings.
- Carry out regular site visits to monitor progress, resolve issues and maintain programme deadlines.
- Deliver projects safely, efficiently and within budget while maintaining excellent customer relationships.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience as a Contracts Manager within the roofing industry.
- Strong knowledge of pitched roofing systems and site management.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects across several locations.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
- Good understanding of NHBC standards and current Health & Safety legislation.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
