Responsibilities
- Assemble and install mechanical components using hand tools and power tools in accordance with technical specifications.
- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on machinery to minimise downtime.
- Perform heavy lifting tasks safely, adhering to health and safety guidelines.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement effective solutions promptly.
- Inspect equipment regularly to identify potential faults or wear and tear.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to project deadlines.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely, with proper technique.
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Physical fitness suitable for manual tasks involving lifting, standing, and manoeuvring equipment.
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in mechanical fitting or engineering are advantageous but not essential. This position is ideal for motivated individuals eager to develop their skills within a professional environment that values safety, precision, and teamwork.
Pay: £10.85-£13.00 per day
