Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and professional Multi Drop Van Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering goods efficiently and safely across designated routes, ensuring timely service to our customers. Duties
- Safely operate a van to make multiple deliveries across various locations within the scheduled routes
- Load and unload goods, often requiring heavy lifting, ensuring items are secured properly during transit
- Plan delivery routes effectively to optimise efficiency and meet delivery deadlines
- Communicate with dispatch and customers to confirm delivery times and address any issues or delays
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures and proof of delivery documentation
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly
- Follow all road safety regulations and company policies during all driving activities
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a delivery driver, preferably with multi-drop routes
- Valid <PERSON> driver’s licence with a clean driving record
- Experience in commercial driving and warehouse operations is advantageous
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when handling goods or parcels
- Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and customers
- Good organisational skills to plan routes efficiently and manage time effectively
- Prior experience with warehouse tasks or logistics is desirable but not essential

Pay: £12.21-£16.00 per hour
