You will be joining an established and forward-thinking accountancy practice that is continuing to modernise the way it works, with a strong focus on client service, technology and developing its people.
This is a key leadership role where you will take ownership of both your own client portfolio and the wider delivery of the practice. You will work closely with the partners to ensure deadlines are met, workloads are managed effectively and clients receive an excellent level of service.
You will be:
Managing a varied portfolio of clients across different entity types
Planning and allocating work across the team
Managing client deadlines and identifying potential bottlenecks
Overseeing colleagues' workloads and supporting the team when required
Acting as a key point of contact for clients and ensuring they are kept informed
Using systems and technology to improve workflow and visibility
Working closely with the partners on practice delivery
Providing technical guidance across accounts, corporation tax, personal tax and VAT
Supporting and developing team members
You will have:
ACA, ACCA, CIMA or AAT qualification preferred
Solid post-qualification experience within an accountancy practice
Experience managing a portfolio of clients
Strong knowledge of statutory accounts, corporation tax and personal tax
Working knowledge of VAT
Previous experience supervising or managing colleagues
Excellent communication and organisational skills
A proactive approach with the confidence to take ownership and make decisions
