Job Purpose
To support the dental team in delivering high-quality patient care in a professional, safe, and friendly environment. This role includes full training towards a recognised Dental Nursing qualification and is ideal for individuals looking to start a long-term career in dentistry.
30 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist or hygienist during all clinical procedures.
- Prepare and maintain the dental surgery, instruments, and materials.
- Follow strict cross-infection and decontamination protocols.
- Support patients throughout their treatment, offering reassurance and clear communication.
- Keep accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Perform reception and administrative duties as required.
- Participate fully in training and complete coursework for the dental nursing qualification.
Requirements
Essential:
- Fluent in spoken and written English.
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English, Maths – Grade C/4 or above.
- Friendly, reliable, and professional with good communication skills.
- Strong interest in dentistry and patient care.
- Willingness to learn and complete a dental nurse training programme.
- You must have the right to work in the UK – we do not offer sponsorship for this role.
Desirable:
- Experience in a healthcare or customer-facing role.
- Understanding of dental procedures and terminology.
Training & Development
- Enrolment on a GDC-approved Dental Nurse course.
- Full on-the-job training and mentorship.
- Progression opportunities to become a Qualified Dental Nurse upon successful completion of the course.

- The successful applicant will be required to undergo a DBS check.
- References will be required as part of the recruitment process.
