Warehouse Operative
Salary: £27,555 per annum

We are recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to work at our warehouse and be responsible for accurately picking and packing customer orders in accordance with procedures.

Role:
- Accurately pick customer orders as detailed by the pick lists generated from the Warehouse Management System and in accordance with procedures
- Meet departmental targets and objectives
- Pack goods in accordance with the Customer Packing Slip
- Put away goods as and when instructed
- Carry out perpetual inventory daily
- Undertake reasonable ad hoc tasks as required
- This is a physically demanding role that requires the successful candidate to be on their feet for most of the day
Requirements:
- Experience of working within a warehouse or a similar environment
- Good interpersonal skills,
- Ability to work as part of a team and under own initiative with minimal supervision
- Good organisation skills
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Basic Computer literacy (experience of using an ERP system desirable)
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Forklift truck license (Counterbalance) – Desirable
The successful candidate will need to undergo a DBS check and specific training and testing to work within our secure aviation area. Any gaps in employment must be verified (gaps of 30 day periods or longer). If less than five years in employment, education checks will need to be undertaken. References will need to be provided during the selection process.
