At ShiftHero Leeds & Bradford, we are currently recruiting for HGV Drivers to cover a wide selection of work in the Leeds area.
Shift Patterns Available:
Days - Available
Nights - Available - higher rate applied
- ongoing and Ad-hoc shifts available,
Pay Rates*:
Week Days: £16.21- £18.50 ( Class 2 and Class 1 Monday - Friday)
Week Nights: starts from £21.00 (Class 1 - Monday - Friday)
Higher pay for: nights, weekends, ADR ,nights out, tippers etc.
As a Class 1 HGV Driver you will need:
- A valid C or CE licence entitlement
- Valid CPC & Digital Tacho
- Good understanding of drivers hours rules and regulations.
- No more than 6 points (or major endorsements)
- ADR certification would be beneficial but not essential .
The Roles:
- Earlier start possible,
- few nights out could be required with soma clients,
- ongoing and Ad-hoc shifts available,
- multi-drop deliveries or trunk runs depending on the route,
- Ensure safe loading, securing, and unloading of materials,
- Complete daily vehicle checks and maintain accurate delivery records,
- Provide excellent customer service while representing company.
