Positions available across four site locations in Plymouth
We are looking for skilled and motivated Engineers to join our team, supporting the installation, testing, and quality assurance of mechanical and electrical systems throughout the yacht build process. Working to the highest standards of craftsmanship and quality, you will play a key role in ensuring each luxury yacht is completed and delivered to our customers to an exceptional standard.
A career in luxury yacht manufacturing may be closer than you think. You do not need previous experience building luxury yachts to succeed in this role. We welcome applications from candidates with transferable skills gained in industries such as automotive, aerospace, rail, defence, marine engineering, vehicle maintenance, and specialist fitout environments.
Main responsibilities:
- Install mechanical and/or electrical components in accordance with the build sequence and project specifications.
- Conduct thorough testing of electrical circuits; identify, diagnose, and resolve faults to ensure system functionality and compliance.
- Perform fault-finding and corrective actions on both mechanical and electrical systems.
- Install and commission air conditioning systems as required.
- Carry out laminating tasks, when necessary, in line with project needs.
- Complete all critical compliance checks and documentation within the boat file.
- Tackle challenges head-on, adapting to overcome build obstacles and improve efficiency.
Knowledge and experience:
- 3 - 5 years of hands-on experience
- Strong engineering skills with an eye for detail and flawless finish.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and information.
- Team player, ready to adapt to any production line and transfer skill set depending on business requirements
- Level 3 qualification in electrical / mechanical engineering (or equivalent)
