Maintenance Team Member
Full Time: 39.5 hours per week
Working hours: Monday – Thursday 8:00am – 5:00pm, Friday 8:00am – 4:30pm
Salary: Up to £27,626.00 per annum (plus benefits)
About the Role
We are looking for a highly motivated, hands-on Facilities Team Member to join our supportive and friendly team. The role involves maintaining the smooth day-to-day operation of a busy multi-building site, with flexibility to provide cover across other centres when required. The post holder will be expected to work safely at all times, follow on-site Health & Safety procedures, and support routine safety compliance across the site as part of their normal duties.
Key Responsibilities
· General maintenance and DIY tasks
· Setting up rooms and moving furniture
· Basic electrical, plumbing and general repair work
· Painting, decorating and site upkeep
· Waste management and recycling duties
· Monitoring contractors and reporting issues
· Mail handling
· Supporting reception when required
· Providing cover and support across other BIC Centres
Additional Requirements
Full UK driving licence (essential)
Flexibility to respond to out-of-hours emergency callouts (essential)
