HGV Technician – Day Shift
£48,670 + Overtime | 4 on, 4 off Shift Pattern | Southampton
We are recruiting for an experienced HGV Technician to join a leading commercial vehicle workshop at their modern, state-of-the-art depot in Southampton.
The Role
Working within a busy workshop environment, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a range of HGVs, completing everything from routine servicing to complex diagnostics.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on HGV vehicles
- Diagnose faults and complete repairs from fault finding to completion
- Perform major mechanical overhauls and inspections
- Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard
What We’re Looking For
- NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds (or equivalent) in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
- Proven experience as an HGV Technician within a fleet or dealership environment
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Class 1 (C+E) licence desirable but not essential
