Help shape the future of London's Air Ambulance Charity
Following the successful completion of our Up Against Time appeal and the launch of our ambitious 15-year strategy, we're investing in a brand-new executive leadership role to help define the future of technology, digital and data across the organisation.
We're looking for an exceptional leader to establish and lead our new Digital, Technology and Data Directorate, bringing together our IT, charity data and clinical and operational data teams under a single vision and strategy. This is a rare opportunity to build a function from the ground up and play a key role in helping us improve patient outcomes, strengthen research and innovation, enhance operational effectiveness and support the long-term sustainability of the charity.
This role is not about inheriting a mature digital function. It's about building on strong foundations already in place, creating the strategy, capability and infrastructure needed to support the next stage of our development. Over the first 12-18 months, your focus will be on increasing digital maturity, strengthening technology and data foundations, integrating teams and developing a roadmap for the future.
We're looking for someone who can balance strategic vision with practical delivery. You'll be equally comfortable shaping long-term strategy with Trustees and Directors as you are rolling up your sleeves to solve complex organisational challenges. You'll understand how technology, digital capability and data can act as enablers of better decision-making, stronger organisational performance, innovation and ultimately better outcomes for our patients.
As a member of the Directors Group, you'll work closely with colleagues across the organisation, NHS partners, researchers, academics and technology providers to help position London's Air Ambulance Charity for future opportunities, including developments in artificial intelligence, automation, advanced analytics and digital healthcare technologies.

You'll be a strategic leader, builder and change agent, with experience of leading technology, digital, data or transformation programmes in a complex organisation. You'll bring the ability to unite teams behind a shared vision, build organisational capability, influence at board level and translate technology opportunities into meaningful organisational value.
