Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Gas Engineer/Plumber to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing gas and plumbing systems across a variety of commercial and residential settings. Responsibilities
- Install, inspect, repair, and maintain gas appliances, boilers, and piping systems in compliance with safety regulations and standards
- Conduct routine maintenance checks on plumbing fixtures, water supply lines, and drainage systems to ensure optimal operation
- Diagnose issues accurately using mechanical knowledge and technical skills, then execute effective solutions using hand tools and power tools
- Perform pipe repairs or system modifications, ensuring strong and durable joints
- Use basic math skills to measure, calculate materials needed, and ensure precise installation or repair work
- Handle heavy lifting safely when transporting equipment or materials to job sites while following proper safety protocols
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Gas Engineer or Plumber with a solid understanding of plumbing systems and gas safety standards
- Proficiency in soldering techniques, use of hand tools, power tools, and other mechanical equipment
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during installation or repair tasks
- Valid driver’s license
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting issues promptly

Pay: £46,800.00-£58,500.00 per year
