Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Qualified Dental Nurse to join our dental team. In this vital role, you will provide exceptional patient care, support dentists during procedures, and ensure the smooth operation of daily clinic activities. We are looking for someone flexible to create a welcoming environment where patients feel comfortable and cared for.
This role is weekdays only.
Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, ensuring all instruments and materials are prepared and sterilised appropriately.
- Provide compassionate patient care, including explaining treatments, managing anxieties, and ensuring patient comfort throughout visits.
- Maintain accurate patient records using dental IT systems, documenting treatments and updates efficiently.
- Support infection control protocols by sterilising equipment, managing clinical waste, and adhering to health and safety standards.
- Communicate clearly with patients regarding post-treatment care instructions and answer any questions they may have.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure the clinic operates smoothly, maintaining high standards of hygiene and professionalism.
Skills
- GDC Registration (required)
- Strong patient care skills with a friendly, empathetic approach that puts patients at ease.
- Excellent communication skills in English to effectively interact with patients, colleagues, and external partners.
- Solid knowledge of nursing principles applied within a dental setting, including infection control practices.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while demonstrating initiative and reliability.

Pay: £13.00-£15.00 per hour
