Assistant Manager
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Assistant Manager to join the team at Shoreline, Newport.
This is a key role supporting our General Manager with the day-to-day running of the business and making sure everything operates smoothly.
Salary & Benefits
- Starting salary £32,000 per year based on experience, on a 45-hour working week
- Tips & tronc on top of salary

What you’ll be doing:
- Supporting the General Manager with the daily operation of the venue
- Helping to lead and support the team during service
- Making sure service runs smoothly and our guests receive an excellent experience
- Assisting with staff organisation, rotas and day-to-day administration
- Helping with stock, ordering and general operational tasks
- Dealing with any issues that arise during service and finding solutions quickly
- Maintaining high standards across the restaurant
- Taking responsibility and being a strong presence on the floor when the GM is not available
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Reliable, organised and hardworking
- Confident leading a team and working under pressure
- A great communicator with a positive attitude
- Experienced in hospitality and ideally in a supervisory/management position
- Someone who takes pride in delivering great service
- Proactive and able to support the GM rather than waiting to be asked
