Overview
My Company is needing to recruit an experienced laundry and ironing professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, excellent organisational skills, and prior experience in washing and ironing. This position is based at a private clients property and has an excellent set up for all responsibilities expected within this role. A small amount of housekeeping is required from time to time also.

Duties
- Efficiently sort, wash, and dry a variety of textiles using commercial laundry equipment
- Iron, press, and fold garments and linens to meet quality standards
- Ensure all laundry is handled with care to prevent damage or colour bleeding
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the laundry area at all times
- Monitor laundry cycles and troubleshoot any operational issues promptly
- Collaborate with housekeeping and cleaning team to ensure timely delivery of clean linen and clothing
- Follow health and safety protocols diligently to maintain a safe working environment
- Keep accurate records of laundry loads and processing times
- A good judge of different types of materials and how to wash them and decide what is needed for dry cleaning.
Experience
- Prior experience in laundry operations within a prefesshional environment is highly desirable
- Proven ability to operate laundry machines and pressing equipment efficiently
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality presentation of finished items
- Organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously under time constraints
- Knowledge of different fabrics and appropriate handling techniques is advantageous
