Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our vibrant salon team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong flair for hairstyling, colour techniques, and customer service, ensuring clients leave feeling confident and satisfied. A background in store management, barbering, or specialised treatments such as eyelash extensions and makeup application is highly desirable. The successful applicant will be responsible for delivering exceptional hair services while maintaining a welcoming environment.
Duties
- Provide a wide range of hair styling services including cuts, colours, blow-dries, and specialised treatments
- Offer expert advice on haircare routines and product recommendations to clients
- Perform additional beauty services such as eyelash extensions and makeup application as required
- Manage front desk operations, including appointment scheduling and client check-ins
- Upsell products and services to enhance client experience and maximise sales opportunities
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to a positive team atmosphere
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workstations in accordance with health and safety standards
- Assist in store management duties when necessary to ensure smooth daily operations
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Hair Stylist with a strong portfolio of work
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect with clients effectively
- Competence in barbering techniques is advantageous
- Experience in store management or supervisory roles is a plus
- Skilled in eyelash extensions, makeup application, and other beauty treatments is preferred
- Demonstrated ability to upsell products and services confidently
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work well within a team environment while providing outstanding customer service
- Flexibility to adapt to client needs and salon schedules
