The Clinical Governance Team is seeking a committed and organised administrator to join our busy and friendly team. This is an important role supporting the delivery of safe, high-quality patient care through effective administrative support.
You will provide comprehensive support to the team, ensuring an efficient and responsive service. Key duties include supporting incident reporting processes, inputting, processing and uploading information onto the Ulysses incident reporting system, maintaining sickness records, administering meetings and supporting the overall workflow of the department.
This is a varied and fast-paced role requiring strong IT skills, excellent attention to detail and proven organisational ability. You must be able to communicate effectively, build positive working relationships and deliver a consistently high standard of customer service. The successful candidate will demonstrate a flexible and calm approach, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage competing demands. You should be confident working independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

To provide a comprehensive, high quality and confidential administrative support to the Clinical Governance Team.
To support administrative functions associated with incident reporting and inputting, processing and uploading of data in the incident reporting system.
Responsible for the provision of an efficient and effective administrative service that enables the Clinical Governance Team to support the delivery of high-quality patient care.
Maintain an overview of the administration function and workflow within the team.
Liaise with other directorates and staff at all levels, both internally and externally.
To be responsible for maintaining comprehensive filing and database systems.
Consistently deliver a client focussed service, which promotes good customer service and effective working relationships.
Receive and direct information appropriately, that may be highly sensitive and complex.
To participate in the Trust’s supervision and appraisal system.
