Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the front of house area, including the restaurant, bar, and host stand
- Ensure excellent customer service by training and supervising front of house staff
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure smooth communication and efficient service
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements to maximize capacity and customer satisfaction
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and special requests in a professional and timely manner
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front of house area
- Monitor inventory levels of supplies, such as menus, utensils, and condiments
- Implement and enforce food safety and hygiene standards
- Assist in developing and implementing policies and procedures to improve overall operations
Skills:
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers, staff, and management
- Knowledge of restaurant operations, including front of house procedures and customer service standards
- Experience in supervising a team in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with kitchen operations and culinary terminology is a plus
- Understanding of hospitality industry trends and best practices
- Ability to handle difficult situations with professionalism and composure
- Strong organizational skills to manage reservations, seating arrangements, and inventory
