Night Female Support Worker – Sleep-in
Location: Milborne Port (Client’s Own Home)
We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and experienced Female Support Worker to join our team, providing dedicated, person-centred care for an elderly client in their own home in Milborne Port.
This is a vital role designed to provide peace of mind, comfort, and dignified support to our client overnight and during key morning routines.
Shift Pattern & Schedule
We are looking for someone who can consistently work the following specific schedule:
Tuesday to Friday Nights: 9:00 PM – 9:00 AM (Active Sleep-In)
Sunday, Monday, & Tuesday Mornings: 8:30 AM – 9:30 AM (1-Hour Support Shift)
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Support Worker, your main focus will be helping our client maintain their independence, dignity, and quality of life in the comfort of their own home.
Providing overnight presence, safety, and reassurance (waking briefly if assistance is required).
Assisting with morning routines, including personal care, gentle mobility support, and dressing.
Preparing breakfast, hot drinks, or light morning snacks.
Ensuring medication is taken on time (if required).
Offering warm companionship and active listening.
What We Are Looking For
Experience: Prior experience working with elderly individuals (in domiciliary care, residential settings, or similar) is essential.
Character: You are inherently caring, patient, empathetic, and respectful of a client's personal space and home.
Reliability: Punctual, dependable, and comfortable working independently during overnight and early morning hours.
Communication: Clear communication skills to liaise with the family and care management team when needed.
